RAWALPINDI: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Asif Majeed Awan on Monday granted seven-day physical remand to the accused, allegedly involved in terror activities, and handed him over to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).

According to details, yesterday, the CTD has arrested Saad Gul – resident of Mohmand Agency – near Morgah, and recovered 530 grams of explosive, 4 detonators and 600 ball bearings from his possession.

The CTD’s officials told the court that the accused belongs to a network of terrorists and prayed the court grants physical remand for further investigation.

While accepting the plea, the ATC granted a seven-day physical remand of the accused and handed him over to the CTD’s officials.
