The military leadership on Sunday reiterated that the armed forces of Pakistan were fully prepared to defend their motherland against any misadventure or aggression.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa said that there is nothing more sacred than defending the motherland, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Twitter.

The army chief visited troops deployed along the Working Boundary near Sialkot. During the visit, he appreciated the morale of the troops and their operational readiness. “There isn’t anything more sacred than defending the motherland. I take pride in leading an army which is ever ready to perform this duty,” the COAS stated.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan also visited Forward Operating Air Bases of the Pakistan Air Force on Sunday.

While interacting with the combat crew, the air chief said, “We are peace loving nation but if the war is imposed on us, we will defend the aerial frontiers of our motherland at any cost.” The PAF alongside other defence forces is ever ready to take on all kinds of challenges with operational preparedness and immaculate synergy, he added.

“Pakistan Air Force will thwart any misadventure by the enemy and is ready to respond with full force as per the aspirations of the nation,” the air chief said, according to a statement issued by the PAF media department. The air chief showed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of bases and also lauded the high morale of the combat crew.
