ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz on Monday tortured Manager Administration and Finance of Gun and Country Club for not leaving his post.

The manager of the club situated in Sports club Islamabad, Yasir Javed, submitted an application against torture at Police Station Aapbara but police owing to political influence could not register FIR as yet. According to sources, Daniyal Aziz is Administrator of Gun Club while Yasir Javed is Manager Administration and Finance. Yasir Javed said that Daniyal Aziz pressurised me to leave charge as he wanted to give this charge to his blue-eyed person Numan Afzal, who was appointed on political grounds for this post some days earlier, without any publication of vacant vacancy. He said that Nauman Afzal was Assistant Manager at that time. Yasir Javed stated that Daniyal Aziz was doing political intervention at Gun Club. He alleged that Daniyal Aziz had given him life threat adding Aabpara Police Station was not cooperating in this regard. While contacted, investigation officer ASI Zahoor Elahi said the FIR was not registered as Yasir Javed had not yet undergone medical formalities to probe into the incident.
