Pervez-MusharrafFormer dictator, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, on Friday, hinted at making return plans to Pakistan, further believing that its present political environment was favourable for him to move back. In a press conference held in Dubai, Musharraf stated that he had two options whether to not come back at all or return after waiting for some time. He argued that there was no point in not going because Pakistan was his country and all his roots are there. The former president further added that there was one way of going like fools but he wanted to wait before making the jump. He maintained, “The environment is better now in my opinion, the political environment favours that I go back.” Musharraf took pride in the fact that half of the ministers in the current government were a part of my cabinet. “The law minister is my own and the attorney general is my own lawyer,” he added. He dismissed reports of critical illness and said, “An impression is being given that I am suffering with an illness owing to which I cannot move. I have no such issue.”
