Top makeup trends to follow this spring

Author: Zaresh Ernest

As we all gear up for the spring season there are a number of makeup looks and trends to keep up with. So without further duo let us take a look at the top 6 Makeup trends this season!

No Makeup look:

This make up look calls for a clean and clear skin, with the concept of, “less is more”. With a neatly set foundation, a little mascara, some smudged liner pencil along the lid and neutral lips –this look is always in! It is perfect for the day or even for an office look. For days when the sun is on high, girls want to wear makeup that is breathable and not too “cakey”.

The bright liner

Oh, how we love those bright colored makeup looks on Instagram! But it can be a little too much for an everyday makeup look. There is always a way to add a little hint of bright colors to your basic makeup look to make it look more young and fun! You can add color to your look by using a bright eye liner or even a florescent shade on your lower lash line. Colors like turquoise, blue or purple really compliment the Asian skin tones.

Cut crease:

Makeup companies are now producing various styles of product for the face. There are a lot of new makeup products in the market that make the whole makeup-applying-process easy. We now have liquid eye shadows that help create the perfect “cut crease look” without too much hassle.

Bright & funky lips

The red lip trend never gets old. It will always remain a classic, but makeup companies now have a huge range of lipstick colors to choose from. Wear lavender purple or a dirty green to match your outfit. Experiment with colors this spring season!

Gradient lips:

There are a lot of new lip trends this season. The colors are finally shifting from nudes to a deep dark plum, which is placed right in the centre of the lips creating a reverse “ombre” effect. This is then topped up with a clear gloss or translucent gloss.
