Reports accuse Nawaz Sharif’s treatment refusal at govt hospitals

LAHORE: Reports citing unnamed government hospital sources have claimed that former Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf has refused to undergo angiography procedure at any government hospital in the country.

The reports claimed that hospital sources have hinted at rumors revolving around that the three-time premier might be allowed to go abroad for medical treatment.

Moreover, Sharif’s medical reports had also been sent to Punjab government to take further decisions about his treatment.

However, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) senior leader Marriyum Aurangzeb demolished the reports of former premier’s refusal to undergo angiography procedure at public health facilities.

Aurangzeb claimed that government is deliberately delaying the treatment of former premier Nawaz Sharif.

“Provisional government is not providing proper treatment to the three-times prime minister Nawaz Sharif,” Marriyum added.

The PML-N leader warned the government of consequences if anything happens to Nawaz and stated that keeping the former prime minister at the Jinnah hospital is against the recommendation of the medical board.
