Robbers’ gang busted in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Anti Robbery Wing (ARW) of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) during a successful operation nabbed a five-robber gang involved in several robbery incidents and recovered from them stolen golden rings, solar plates, batteries, LCD, laptops, mobile, stabilizers and electricity meters worth millions of rupees and a case amounting to Rs 20000.

Police teams traced five persons wanted in banditry related incidents and arrested them. The arrested persons are Abu Bakar Siddique, Rehman Ullah, Basharat Masih, Sunil Masih and Tariq Masih.

During the preliminary investigations, these accused persons confessed to commit several banditries.

The accused Abu Bakr Siddique and Rehman Ullah disclosed during the investigation that they broke into the house of Masood Asim on October 26, 2016.
