ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), an attached department of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, aims to send a host of doctors to Saudi Arabia this month.
OEC Managing Director Pervaiz Ahmed Janjua said on Wednesday that the department will organise walk-in interviews on January 14 and 15 in Karachi for the selection of consultants, specialists and resident doctors for the Saudi Ministry of Health.
A delegation from the Saudi ministry aims to visit Pakistan in its search for doctors for different regions of the country including Asir, Baha and Bisha.
The ministry requires the services of doctors as consultants, specialists and residents in various departments such as internal medicine, paediatrics, general surgery, orthopaedics, family medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as for anaesthesia and radiology.
Janjua also mentioned that salaries and other terms and conditions would be settled at the time of the interview.
