Rabbani lambastes Abdul Qadir Baloch over Raheel Sharif’s appointment

ISLAMABAD: Lieutenant General (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch staged a walkout from the house when Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani lambasted him on giving justification regarding the appointment of former chief of army staff general (r) Raheel Sharif as commander of the Saudi-led alliance.

States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch, after getting permission from the Senate chairman, stated that neither Pakistan nor Saudi Arabiagave any policy statement regarding the appointment of former COAS Raheel Sharif to avoid any controversy. Hearing this, the Senate chairman said he “knows better how to run the house,” adding that no one needs to interfere in the matters of the respected house.

After this Abdul Qadir Baloch left the house in protest.
