A 13 years old girl and a woman died due to the strike of Young doctors at civil hospital in Dadu.
On Friday, for the third consecutive day, young doctors and Para Medical Staff Association continued their strike for acceptance of their demands of increasing of salaries and other allowances. According to relatives of the deceased Wazeeran Memon, Wazeeran- wife of Bashir Ahmed Memon- was brought at civil hospital Dadu, but doctors refused to treat her resulting in her death.
Husband of deceased Wazeeran, Bashir Ahmed Memon said that his wife was facing high temperature and other diseases. He had brought his wife at civil hospital Dadu for treatment and requested doctors and nurses to check on her. Since no one helped her, till half an hour latter his wife had died.
While, another child-a 13 years old Aliza Soomro- also had died due to strike of doctors at civil hospital Dadu. According her relatives, doctors had not treated her and she died on the way when she referred to Nawab Shah for treatment.
Doctors continued their boycott at OPDs at civil hospital Dadu, hospitals in KN Shah, Mehar, Johi, Sehwan, Manjhand, Kotri and Thana Bula Khan on Friday.
