Remembering Noor Khan Bezanjo, one of Balochistan’s best singers

Author: Rahmat Shafique

Noor Khan Bezanjo is counted amongst the best singers of Balochistan. He was born in Pasni in 1969. Bizanjo loved singing Balochi songs and his passion brought him to the city. I always listen to his songs because I love his style of singing. Bizanjo completed his matriculation from his native city of Pasni and later moved to the neighbouring Turbat to study fine arts, resulting in a Bachelor of Arts degree and a short time later, he released his first album ‘Sheerkynein Yaat’. Soon after, Bizanjo started singing duets with Arif Baloch, who is another famous Balochi singer and the collaboration continued until the former’s death in 2003. Bizanjo famous albums include ‘Alhaan’, ‘Aadeink’ and ‘Zaheerani Razan’.
