Asif Zardari filed an application in SC to stop FIA investigation against him

The former president filed an application in Supreme Court (SC) to stop investigation against him by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

FIA is investigating against fake account case. Sardar Latif Khosa the counsel of Asif Zardari filed a plea in Supreme Court on Friday. Supeme Court has ordered the Joint Investigation Tem (JIT) to assist the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

The plea states that FIA is violating the law and they are still investigating the fake account case. FIA recently summoned Asif Zardari’s legal advisor and questioned him about some accounts.

Zaradi’s plea stated that the role of JIT and FIA is to assist NAB. They have no authority to summon the legal advisor.
