Life is a tale

Author: Munaj Gul Muhammad

The teary eyes ever seem sanguine,

Thou told the indelible moments seem alike,

In thinking he was hopelessly lost,

But he was heartened by the sight of a familiar farmhouse,

All of a sudden,

His eyes slowly became accustomed to the dark,

In the dwelling,

The refulgence of a full moon on a clear autumn night,

Made only memories,

But you couldn’t think straight,

Sitting in darkness,

Thinking about the days but,

The moon was a lucent orb in the cloudless autumn sky,

You remembered the smiles,

In remembering,

The nights converted into days and days into nights but,

Thou only sat near the graveyard

I thought a lot,

Might thou talked with the dead-soul,

Thou told the dead soul is ever alive,

In the graveyard but,

Thou only smiled,

On that day I heard the most bizarre story but,

Someone wished to be demented,

In the world of solitary,

He lived no more when,

Thou wrote, “Life is a tale,”

The teary eyes ever seem sanguine,

Thou told the indelible moments seem alike.
