New Japanese envoy vows to boost relations with Pakistan

Ambassador Designate of Japan to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda Tuesday said that Pakistan and Japan have enjoyed friendly relations and that he will work to further strengthen these relations. “Pakistan and Japan have enjoyed friendly relations and my job is to further strengthen the strong bilateral as well as people-to-people relations,” he said in a statement issued by the Japanese embassy in Islamabad. Kuninori Matsuda is a career diplomat and has served at very important positions during his diplomatic career spanning over 35 years. He has served at various positions at the Embassy of Japan in Russia, Embassy of Japan in Israel, Consulate General of Japan in Detroit and Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong.
