Registration for national snow hike competition opened

ISLAMABAD: The Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) will be organising the National Snow Hike on February 5, with the hike going from Donga Gali to Mushkpuri Top at Murree Hills.

According to the ACP, the registration for the hike has been opened. The organisation said that each participant in the hike would be awarded a certificate. In addition it said top three position holders would be given medals. The registration fee for the hike is Rs 1,000 per participant, which included transport from Islamabad to Donga Gali and back to Islamabad. The participants would also be provided with lunch, the ACP added.

The organisation revealed that interested parties could register for the expedition by emailing the club at pakalpine1@yahoo.com. It added that the fee could be paid in cash or via easypaisa and mob cash. Registration for the hike is open till January 27.
