Kashmir Day

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Kashmir day or Solidarity Day is celebrated on February 5 every year by enjoy this day as public holiday. Basically, like every year, it is a useless holiday for Kashmiris.

My question is; what we have done for Kashmiris till today? On the other hands, India crosses limits now and killed hundreds of Kashmiris every year and destroyed hundreds of houses in Held Kashmir. India is continuously violating human rights and no one can stop it. Some human rights group report that India killed approximately 100,000 people from 1989 including women and children and countless women are raped.

So you cannot imagine normal life in held Kashmir. All Kashmiris are waiting for UN to decide this lingering issue. We all know that there is a Muslims are in majority in held Kashmir and all they want to be a part of Pakistan. But Indian is not interested plebiscite in Kashmir. I request to Imran Khan, to take serious line to save human life in Kashmir as we all pray and always with them but it is not enough, it is high time to solve this lingering issue.
