Believe me

Author: Ali Jan Maqsood

It is tough to spend the days without you,

These days, believe me,

As I love you, more than anyone,

More than myself, believe me,

There exists no one in the world except for you,

More than me, believe me,

No one meanders around the society,

More than me, believe me,

Stones keep the records in the graveyard,

Shed is my witness, believe me,

The engraved people were dumbstruck too,

For, I wailed thy name, vociferated for you,

Like no one did, believe me,

Each second kills me, calling me a loser in relations,

Each moment I cry without thou, believe me,

Thy Lala, thou said, ought to be mad without thou,

Thy sound is missed the most,

Thy smile, believe me,

Waiting for thee, at the same spot you departed,

Near the playground, in the graveyard,

Believe me!
