Teenage boy killed, six wounded in separate road accidents

KARACHI: A man was killed and six others, including a woman, got injured in separate road accidents in the city on Thursday.

In Korangi area, a teenage boy was killed in a road accident. According to rescue sources, an 18-year-old unknown boy, was hit by unidentified vehicle while crossing a road. He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

His body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico- legal formalities.

A vehicle hit a motorcyclist injuring Salman, 20, and Azam Hussain, 19, in Maripur area. They were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. In a seprate incident 22-year-old Inayat, and 26-year-old Ghulam Murtaza were hit by a vehicle in Steel Morr. They sustained serious wounds and were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.

Meanwhile, a car hit a motorcyclist, Ali, 26, in Safari Park area. As a result, he suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment. In Ayesha Manzil area, a 50-year-old unknown woman was injured when a speeding vehicle hit her. She was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
