Mad in my own world

Author: Ali Jan Maqsood

People express their anger,

They crucify what I possess,

I call it my feelings,

They consider it my madness,

Like the dead soul illustrated,

And my angel,

We are mad in our world,

Thy world is unhappy,

Accepted!

For, madness is our profession,

I am not a poet, I agree,

Neither am I a magician,

But I am a crier,

I am a wisher of what is far from me,

Catechise the graveyard,

And the dead soul,

Along the silent graves,

As I am not what you say,

But I am that you think,

Mad in my world!
