MUZAFFARABAD: Two students and a teacher were killed and 10 others injured when a truck rammed into a school in Birpani town of Bagh District on Friday.
A truck laden with flour bags, heading towards Saddan Galli, skidded off the road and rammed into a school from the opposite direction, killing two students, including a teacher, while 10 other sustained serious injuries.
The injured were pulled out of rubble on time however condition of four among them was stated to be critical.
The incident took place due to failure of brakes, making it difficult for the drive to control the truck, which penetrated into the school building.
The police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
