Court accepts Musharraf’s security demand

ISLAMABAD: Former president General Pervaiz Musharraf’s lawyer said that the ex-president wants to come back to Pakistan and face the legal allegations against him.

During the hearing of judges’ detention case Musharraf’s lawyer revealed, “Pervaiz Musharraf wants to return, however, he has some concerns regarding security.”

The lawyer of the former president also professed that the court should order foolproof security upon Pervaiz Musharraf’s return to Pakistan.

Accepting the plea, the court ordered Interior Ministry and Islamabad IG to ensure guaranteed security to former president General Pervaiz Musharraf upon his return.

The court was adjourned till February 9.
