Solo calligraphy exhibition attracts art lovers

LAHORE: A solo exhibition of calligraphy titled ‘Mahsq’ by Tasneem F Inam kicked off at the Hamail Art Gallery on Friday.

A large number of art lovers, including students and elders visited the gallery on the inauguration.

As many as 12 calligraphic paintings were put on display which remain centre of attraction of visitors.

Tasneem, who did masters in fine arts from the Punjab University’s College of Art and Design, had won many prizes by the National College of Arts and Ghazali. Her work had also been published in a book titled Allama Bul Qalam.

Speaking on the occasion, Tasneem said, ‘I have expressed my intellectual longing for creative ideas through my love for traditional Islamic khat and my own contemporary painting style.”
