Installation of biometric system has ensured punctuality of all health officials of Landi Kotal District Headquarter Hospital.
Like elsewhere in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the health department has installed biometric system in DHQ hospital, Landi Kotal, with an intention to regularize all health staffers.
Locals declared installation of biometric system a positive step aimed at improving the health centre’s abilities to treat ailing residents of the area.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Khalid Javed, said that the monitoring system has ensured one hundred percent attendance of all staffers.
“The record of entry and exit cannot be manipulated and high-ups of the health department were directly monitoring data of every single health official,” he added.
After merging the ex-tribal districts into KP, the KP health department in its first initiative installed bio-metric system in health centres to regularize the health staff in order to provide best medical facilities to the people of the province.
