Take it or leave it!
I’m a 30-year-old teacher, who has lost interest in the profession. I really want to leave teaching and pursue a different career that better challenges my creative side. But I can’t help feeling that at 30 it is too late to start over, what do you guys think? Should I take the risk and leave my job?

30 is definitely not too late to start a career, in fact it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Colonel Harland Sanders was 65 when he launched KFC and by the time he was 88 years old, he was a billionaire. So believe in yourself and if you are really passionate about something, just follow your heart. It’s better to take a risk than look back in regret and wonder “what if”.

Age is a just a number, I know in our society 30 is sometimes regarded as 50, but you are still young and can easily switch jobs. But a word of caution. It is undoubtedly important to follow your dreams but financial security is also important too. So before you leave your job, make sure you are financially secure, because honey if at the end of the day the bills aren’t paid, all love (and passion) flies out of the window.
