Daily Times

Flowers all across,

And thou in the midst,

Like the moon among stars,

And the light in dark!

I kept watching thee for long,

For, there was a relief in watching the smile,

Thou kept wandering there for long,

I kept smiling for more,

Thy each step was an accomplishment,

My life was similar to an astonishment,

I was the drop and thou the ocean,

Me the lips and thou the smile,

Thou was the song I sang,

The lesson I learnt,

And the words I elaborated,

But, I no longer witness thee around me,

Thou went farther and farther and farther,

Unbeknownst to everyone of my reach,

And the graveyard,

Around thy ally,

With silent graves!
