Experiencing a new culture and trying delicious exotic cuisine is what community members were doing on Saturday at the annual Chinese Spring Festival. Students and community members celebrated the 14th annual Chinese Spring Festival at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The goal is to teach students, faculty and the Kearney community about the Chinese culture. “It’s not only Chinese. There is Japanese, Korean people. There are people from all around the world. I think it’s very important as an international student to share our cultural to American people. For us we can share the Chinese culture to the people who live in Kearney, I think it’s amazing. People here can connect with the world,” said the UNK Chinese Student Association President Xeubo Wang.
