Unfortunate

Author: Ali Jan Maqsood

“Luck never supports me. Every time, I am cheated. I‘m really very unfortunate,” Lahdad wondered looking at his torn shoes and put both his hands on his head.

He was sitting and raving under the shadow of the broken and shabby walls of the school. In the meantime, a Rs 500 note was thrown at his feet. His eyes lit up indeed. He stood up and went towards the polling station to cast his vote.

This was originally a Balochi short story written by Asghar Zaheer.
