False claims

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Most of the representatives of the government including ministers usually use this phrase, “The sinking ship of the nation has been rescued by the government and brought to the shore safe and sound.’ They make tall claims that they have completed a Herculean task.

In fact, the ship of the nation was not sinking. Rather the government’s own ship was in trouble. It was wading through deep waters. They should stop befooling the nation. It is an absurd and meaningless excuse for the poor performance of the government.

We are a nation being governed by rogues, plunderers, looters and sick-minded rulers. The ruling class should stop taking the credit that it does not deserve. They need to take the bug out of their minds that they are the saviours of this nation.
