What do you do?

Author: Marryam Suleman

What do you do?

When she rains tears,

The bloodshot clouds,

The wrinkled forehead

And the scars afresh

What do you do?

When little droplets fall,

Fall in abundance,

The tide rises, and

The thunder strikes

What do you do?

When you hold onto the Goddess

only to find hollowness inside

for none can fill the void, unleashing

the unseen that sets her apart.
