Blast in Afghanistan kills seven

AFGHANISTAN: A truck collided with a roadside bomb that killed seven civilians.

Pacheer Agam District Governor Hijratullah Rahmani informed that the passengers were travelling from Pacheer Agam to a close by village in Nanghar province.

“Unfortunately, in the blast, seven civilians, including a woman and three children were killed and one wounded,” he stated.

No one took responsibility, but the interior ministry in criticized “enemies of peace and stability,” a term Afghan officials use for Taliban.

UN report states that Afghan civilians are paying a heavy price for the growing conflict across the country. A total of 2,562 civilians were killed and another 5,835 wounded in the first nine months of 2016.
