ISLAMABAD: Law enforcers arrested 58 suspects from different areas of Peshawar.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor, the law enforcers carried out joint combing operations on Saturday and Sunday night in Shaheen town, Warsak Road and Dalazak, Pakka Ghulam areas of Peshawar.
During these operations, 58 suspects were apprehended. Among them five are Afghan nationals. A huge cache of arms and drugs were also seized from them.
Sources said that the operation was carried out on intelligence-based information and arrested people have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
