Pakistani-American chef Fatima Ali passes away after a battle with cancer

Pakistani-American chef Fatima Ali who has been suffering from terminal cancer passed away.

Chef Fatima Ali was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma- a rare form of bone and soft tissue cancer in 2017.

The former Top Chef season 15 contestant shared with the world in October that she was given a year to live by the doctors.

Fatima in a message on social media said “The cancer cells my doctors believed had vanished are back with a vengeance in my left hip and femur bone. My oncologist has told me that I have a year to live, with or without the new chemotherapy regimen. I was looking forward to being 30, flirty, and thriving. Guess I have to step it up on the flirting. I have no time to lose”.
