NGO celebrates Education Day at Shikarpur villages

SHIKARPUR: The Education Day was celebrated by Hands, Shikarpur chapter, at Village Dil Murad Jatoi, Villager Shah Bakhsh and Kedho Jaffari here on Sunday. Professor Wazir Ali Mahar, a renowned educationist was the chief guest while Umar Daraz, a prominent educationist, and Madam Shagufta were the guests. They urged masses as well as the government to play their pivotal role to reopen closed schools in the area in the larger interests of the local community. On the occasion, academic material was distributed among the students by Riaz Ahmed Mahar, Sub-Eengineer at Hands, the chief guest and others.
