LAHORE: A gang, under the leadership of renowned suspect Sufyan Chaudhry and arms dealer Honey, opened random and indiscriminate fire at various times in a show of defiance against the police.

Multiple FIRs had been registered against the suspects, however in a show of defiance which highlighted the corruption in the police department, the gang opened fire at numerous times in the Iqbal Town division. However, no action was taken against them with the police remaining silent.

The gang’s actions prove police promises as well as the vows made by the administration, under Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s Safe City project, as being worthless, with nothing having been done to stop the gang from running wild.
