CIA foils terror bid in Gujranwala, seizes arms and ammunition

GUNRANWALA: The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and local police foiled a terror bid in Gujranwala on Monday, seizing a huge cache of arms and ammunition in the process.

The forces conducted a joint operation in which they intercepted a car at a police check post in Chan Da Qila and recovered 20 pistols and 13 thousand rounds as well as automatic arms. The police also arrested Firdous of Khyber Agency and Tazeem of Sargodah.
