Ali Zafar revealed that Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan wanted the singer’s popular track Rockstar for one of his films. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Zafar was asked if given a chance, what would he like to ask SRK. To which he replied, “When do I get to sing for you (SRK)?”

The singer turned actor then recalled an interesting story about the last time he met Shah Rukh at a dinner after he shot a cameo in ‘Dear Zindagi’.”He mentioned that he really liked my song Rockstar for his movie Zero. He told me that ‘I am going to be playing a dwarf in my next film and would you let me use your song?’ And I said by all means. But unfortunately due to unstable political climate, it never worked out,” Zafar said.
