Nawaz Sharif reaches Tajikistan

DUSHANBE: Prime Minister Muhmmad Nawaz Sharif reached Dushanbe airport on Wednesday and was greeted by Tajikistan Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda

A honourary ceremony also took place at the palace of President Imamali Rehmon where the premier was accorded the guard of honour.

The PM is being accompanied by a high level delegation consisting of Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz, federal ministers Khawaja Asif and Khurram Dastgir along with other officials.

Leaders of both the countries are expected to discuss bilateral ties and trade, development, economy and regional connectivity.

It is also anticipated that views about issues pertaining to mutual interest especially Pakistan policy regarding a peaceful neighbourhood will also be discussed.
