SAHIWAL: Four people including two women were killed by Counter-Terrorism Department on GT Road near Sahiwal.
Counter-Terrorism Department allegedly opened fire at a car coming from Lahore and killed four people near Sahiwal toll palaza on GT Road on Saturday. Two children present in the car were also injured in the incident.
Police claimed that the deceased were kidnappers and two children were recovered in the operation near a petrol pump on GT Road.
However, eyewitnesses said that the children claimed that the police has killed their parents. “Following the firing incident, the police left the children at the petrol pump where they spoke to us. A few minutes later, however, CTD officials returned and took the children with them to an undisclosed location,” the eyewitnesses added.
