No power can stop me from going abroad: Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah Thursday said it does not matter if his name is on the exit control list (ECL) and that no power can stop him from embarking on an official trip abroad.

Talking to reporters in Sehwan, the chief minister criticised the federal government and Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry. “He has nothing better to do than making up news stories to appear on television,” he said.

Shah lamented that the prime minister’s visit to Sindh is being termed a conspiracy. “Imran Khan is the prime minister of Pakistan … he can visit Sindh any time,” he added.

Shah said Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari have formed an alliance with the opposition to help resolve public issues. “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is only taking revenge from political opponents,” he added.

The chief minister said the matter of shortage of water was discussed in detail in the provincial assembly. Sindh is not receiving water share according to 1991 agreement, he added.
