LAHORE: Police in Lahore took a man into custody on the charge of aerial firing; however, the main suspect of the case was still missing.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered the authorities to arrest the people involved in the case of aerial firing once the footage of the incident was aired on the social media. A suspect, Honey, was arrested while the main suspect Chaudhary Sufiyan was still missing. Authorities are still conducting raids for his arrest.
According to reports, the main suspect Chaudhary Sufiyan served in the Union Council (UN) as the PML-N Youth Wing general secretary.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered the suspect to be immediately taken into custody. “No person is above the law and the responsible must be brought to justice,” he stated.
