The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday sought details from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding the ongoing inquiries in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur. During the hearing, SHC Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh censured NAB investigation officer and prosecutor as they failed to satisfy the court regarding the accountability bureau’s inquiries which are currently under way. Upon inquiry by the judge, NAB prosecutor added that several inquiries were under way. Justice Sheikh responded, “Give a statement regarding the number of inquiries that are ongoing. Some inquiries have been ongoing for the past two years. We will summon Sindh DG NAB.”
