Happiness and success is what we all seek in our life. According to colour therapy, the wall colour of your house can affect your mental well being and mood.

Here are a few tips to help you choose the right colours.

One should only choose colours, which belong to their favourable planets or which represent their luck/life path number. You can finalise by choosing a common colour among the favourable colours while also keeping in mind the suggested colours for different directions.

The direction north is governed by the planet Mercury, which represents number 5. It is governed by the colour green, thus the walls facing north should be painted green. The bathrooms should be in the north zone of the house as it is the direction of water source.

North-east is governed by Jupiter. The east direction is governed by the sun. It represents number 1 and governs orange colour. Thus, walls or curtains in the east direction of your house should be painted orange or red.

South-east direction is governed by Venus, which represents number 6. The colour associated with fire is red whereas the colour associated with Venus is white/blue. South-east is the zone which belongs to the kitchen, hence kitchen walls should be painted orange or red. In case there’s a room in the south-east, then it should be painted white.

South is governed by Mars, which represents number 9. The colour associated with Mars is red. So the southern walls in your house should be painted orange or red.

South-west direction represents number 4 and is associated with blue colour. This direction is best for the master-bedroom. So, a master-bedroom in the south-west direction should be painted blue.

West is governed by Saturn, which represents number 8 and the colour associated with it is black or grey. Thus, the western walls should be painted grey in your home.

North-west is governed by moon. The moon represents number 2. North-west is the best direction for having a guest room or a drawing room, which should be painted white.
