Army chief assures AJK PM of troops’ preparedness

RAWALPINDI: Azad and Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Wednesday met with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters, according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The press release stated that during the meeting, both of them discussed matters of mutual interest. The security situation at the Line of Control was also discussed.

Moreover, the army chief assured the AJK PM that Pakistan Army was vigilant and capable of responding to all kinds of threats from across the border.

The AJK PM appreciated the army’s contribution towards development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the fields of education, health and communication infrastructure.
