Msilitants of Jamaatul Ahrar attacked Pakistan forces checkpost from across the border in Loy-Shelman, the bordering area of Landi Kotal on Sunday.
The forces sources told that the miscreants launched offense on Hakim post by opening indiscriminate firing of SMGs on the post from Reenow Parchaw area of Afghanistan. However no casualty was reported.
According to the forces official, the forces retaliated in the same coin and forced the militants to flee.
It is pertinent to mention that effective security mechanism of Pak forces, adopted at Pak-Afghan sharing border has halted miscreants from Afghanistan to execute their mal designs in the country.
