Abu Dhabi crown prince arrives today

Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on a day-long official visit on Sunday (today). The crown prince is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan. This would be his first official visit to Pakistan. The crown prince would hold talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan who would also host a luncheon in his honour. “The visit of the crown prince is expected to bring a total of $12 billion investment in Pakistan, including $3 billion which has already been announced as cash credit to be placed with the State Bank of Pakistan,” Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said.

Pakistan is also likely to get oil worth $3.2 billion on deferred payments from the UAE and an announcement in this regard is expected during the visit of the crown prince. A number of MoUs and agreements are likely to be inked during the visit.
