The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday said it has acquired authority to interrogate Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif in jail.

The anti-graft body has reportedly obtained the details of assets held by the leader of the opposition in National Assembly besides details of his bank accounts and vehicles.

Currently, Shehbaz is on judicial remand after being arrested by NAB on October 5 last year on corruption charges of Rs14 billion in the Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme.
