Commission on missing persons disposes 3,551cases

The commission on missing personshas disposed of 3,551 casesout of a total of 5,706 until December 31, 2018. As per the monthly progress report of cases of alleged enforced disappearances till December 31released on Saturday by Secretary of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances Farid Ahmed Khan, a total of 5,608 cases were received by the commission until Nov 31, 2018. During the month of December, 98 more cases were received and the total rose to 5,706.During the month of December 2018, the commission disposed of 59 cases and now the pending numbers of cases stands at 2,155.
