Water crisis in Pakistan

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Water crisis is the emerging issue that is still waiting for some measures to rectify.

Pakistan has world’s 4th highest rate in water usage. At time of Indus Water Treaty, it was decided that Pakistan could have built more than 34 water reservoirs but only seven are built till today. We are still waiting for some sort of miracle to happen to handle water shortage in future.

If we don’t take any immediate step Pakistan will face water scarcity in near future for far future.
