LAHORE: In collaboration with the Alhamra Arts Council, the Walled City Lahore Authority (WCLA) will organise the ‘Gilgit Baltistan music festival’ in Alhamra Arts Council (AAC) on February 2.
WCLA Director General Kamran Lashari said on Thursday that the aim of the three-day festival was to bring the cultures of both areas together and create harmony in them.
He said that a model of Gilgit Baltistan’s traditional villages will be prepared inside Alhamra, where food and music stalls will also be installed.
“The Gilgit Baltistan festival had already been held in Lahore,” the WCLA spokesperson said and added that entry in the festival would be free.
