Author: By Our Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) on Thursday staged a token hunger strike against what they called high level corruption in the Livestock and Animal Husbandry Department. On the occasion, APCA representatives Munawar Shah, Nisar Soomro and others told newsmen that the corruption was rampant in the department as officers were misusing the budget on fake fuel bills, vehicle repairing, stationery, furniture and other items. They urged the chief minister and the minister concerned to take notice of wide-scale corruption being committed in the department.
